Link-Ability helps people described as having learning disabilities

Link-Ability helps people described as having learning disabilities who may also have Physical/sensory impairment to live a life of their choosing in their own home or neighbourhood. For us to help plan and deliver care or support services the person ordinarily has roots in Chorley, South Ribble, Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton.

Link-Ability now deliver care or personal support to over 43 separate addresses

Link-Ability began when it helped four people move to their own home in May 1990. The first house was supplied by the then Chorley Borough Council’s Community Services Directorate.

We currently deliver care or personal support to over 43 separate addresses in the Chorley, South Ribble, Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. One location is a registered home for four adults who have care and personal support needs due to physical or sensory impairment. One person also requires nursing support at all times which is an added condition of registration.

To all other locations the person(s) living there are assured tenants of supported living, owner occupier or sharing the family home still.

Link Ability is registered and regulated by The Care Quality Commission. The reports on how well our services are run are available publicly by going to:
