Russell's Holiday in Keswick
The Calvert Trust in Keswick
In April last year I was lucky enough to be sponsored by the Rotary Club to have a weeks adventure holiday at the Calvert Trust in Keswick.
I stayed in a lovely lodge at the Calvert Trust site in the beautiful hills of Cumbria, where the staff were wonderful and the food was even better. Full English every morning!! While there I took part in many activities which included horse riding, hill walking, archery, sailing on a catamaran, indoor rock climbing and canoeing. These activities kept me busy every day and I enjoyed every one.
In the evenings there was a social club and one night there was entertainment. Another evening I made the most of the sites own indoor swimming pool.
On the final evening there was a disco at which I enjoyed dancing with all the girls and even received a certificate for completing a wonderful week of activities!
I made lots of new friends and got to join in with some amazing activities. My mum and dad said they thought it was the best holiday I have ever had! One day I would love to do it all again.
