Barbara's Story
I have just returned from my cruise holiday. We flew from Manchester to Majorca, where we met the ship Grandeur of the Seas. My support worker Debbie came with me, and we had a fantastic time. We sailed to France, Italy and Sicily and I have seen so many wonderful sights.
My favourite place on the ship is the "Jacuzzi" and I love the bubbles. I enjoyed dining in the evening in the restaurant, I made some lovely friends, especially Jean. We have been in contact since I have returned and making plans for a visit. I enjoyed choosing from the menu and ordering with Chandra my waitress.
Every night when we got back to our cabin we had a different animal made from towels on our bed or hanging from the ceiling, it made us smile.
I love choosing a holiday and booking it at the Travel Agents with Mel, she always makes me a cup of tea and doesn't mind when I pay with bags of coins!!!
I have already planned next year's holiday. I am going to Great Yarmouth. I used to go with my family when I was a little girl.
I am busy now saving my coins!!!
