Link-Ability Board of Trustees

Responsibility for Link-Ability lies with its board of Trustees, of which presently there are nine in number.

The range of expertise of the Board of Trustees lies within management of organisation both in the public and voluntary sector. Professional management and/or delivery of Health and Social Care services for adults and children who also have disabilities. Higher Education of Students of Health and Social Care.

People having expertise as carers (parents or relatives) of children or adults who also have disabilities. Expertise in Registered Social Landlord services (Housing Associations).

The Trustees also have a co-opted volunteer with expertise in Legal services.

Day to day responsibility is delegated to Link-Ability's Executive Director, David Naden.

Central administration and support services are delivered via two admin workers, one office and admin manager, two accountants and two internal relief agency co-ordinators.

Professional operational management and service development is delivered by four Assistant Directors.

The day to day care management of services or clusters of services are delivered via one service manager, one registered manager, four team leaders and six senior support workers.

Link-Ability are recognised Investors In People UK and we are a preferred provider with Lancashire Learning Disability Adult and Community Services Directorate.
